In this episode of CRYPTO 101, we spoke with Colin Pape, founder of Presearch. Presearch is a privacy-centric search engine aggregator whose advertising is powered by the PRE token. It’s a very novel approach to ad placement. Instead of an endless money pit like Google Ads, people can stake whatever keywords they want, and their ads will appear based on their stake rank. It’s one of the best tokenomics models for locking tokens out of supply in an actually useful way. Colin gives us his story on being a small startup trying to tackle the biggest giant on the Internet. He’s a really likeable guy that makes you want to root for him, not just his mission.
